DESCRIPTION
The le
interface provides access to the 10
Mb/s Ethernet network via the AMD 7990 LANCE Ethernet chip set.
HARDWARE
The le
interface supports the following
mvme68k hardware:
HARDWARE CONFIGURATION
For MVME376, the card's base address (matching the addr locator on the configuration line) is defined through three sets of DIP switches, “SW1” and “SW2”, located in the middle of the board, near the space between the two VME connectors, and “SW3”, closer to the AM7990DC chip at the bottom edge.
The only supported configurations are:
SW1 | SW2 | SW3 | Address |
UUU_UU_U |
U__U____ | ______U_ | 0xffff1200 |
UUU_U_UU |
U__U_U__ | ______U_ | 0xffff1400 |
