random lines from a file or random
random reads lines from the standard input
and copies them to the standard output with a probability of 1/denominator.
The denominator must be at least 1, its default value
The options are as follows:
- If the
-eoption is specified,
randomdoes not read or write anything, and simply exits with a random exit value of 0 to the minimum of 255 and denominator - 1, inclusive.
-roption guarantees that the output is unbuffered.
